A colleague from work had brand-new skis that required a test-drive and the weather was suitably cold, too. So, we headed up on Longyear-glacier to check an ice cave. Of course, because this colleague is from Australia, she appeared to sometimes prefer skiing upside down. Perhaps the unusual angle between the terrain gradient and the gravity vector fooled her to make sudden kangaroo jumps in unexpected directions...
