This is not the first time we've been to Svalbard and a couple of Svalbardians from about 15 years ago booked one of our guest bedrooms for a week. Besides sight seeing and shopping, some of the Classic Routes were re-done. The skiing did not work out that well: a binding broke exactly at the moment before the skier would have launced himself downhill in the soft summer snow...
