Another excellent skiing day just outside of the city. First, there is somewhat less than 30km to drive on the snowmobile and then there is an excellent ski destination called Ottofjellet. Again, we were on fjellski so that everyone in the group would enjoy the same challenges on the way down. You know, skinny skis and slightly beefed up crosscountry ski boots rather than proper alpine skis. There is about 500m of elevation gain and the slope is in the sun all the time. Could be worse and there were some nice spots on the way down...
