Käkätystä mäellä / They're here!

Lauantain hiihtoretkellä tehtiin erikokoisia kuoppia rinteeseen, mutta tulipahan käytyä ulkona ja samalla vietyä vähän roinaa tutkalle. Pari haahkaa on jo bongattu merellä kellumassa ja Noora on kuulema nähnyt jo pulmusen jossain kaukana. Isolokkejakin liihottelee siellä sun täällä. Mutta se oikea kysymys on, joko pikkuruokit on tulleet vai ei. Piti lähteä selvittämään asiaa...

The temperature was not really cold, but somehow the combination of wind just froze everything during the short ski trip. So, the next day we replaced the skis with "long lenses" and headed out to the nearby bird cliffs to see whether the little auks had arrived. And, yes, they had! It would be easy to spend an entire afternoon photographing these birds.
