Aurinko on kuumentanu yläkertaa koko yön ja sääennuste ehdottelee hienoa keliä koko päiväksi. Lyhyen pohdinnan jälkeen pakataan kamat ja ajellaan veneellä toiselle puolelle vuonoa. Kohteena on hieno "ruotsalainen harjanne", jonka harjalta on mainiot näköalat naapurivuonoihin. Ollaan oltu täällä kerran aiemminkin ja reitti oli vielä hienompi kuin muistettiin.
The "Swedish Ridge" is perhaps one of the finest walks in the neighbourhood. The weather is so warm that the temperature records in Longyearbyen are pretty close to be broken, especially if the forecast for Tuesday will match the actual weather. In fact, the month of June was the warmest June in the past 50 years. Anyway, we took advantage of the heat wave and drove the boat to the other side for a nice walk with excellent views to nearby glaciers and fjords. It was a bit bumpy on the way back.
