Lunta ei ole riittävästi järkevään hiihtämiseen, joten käppäiltiin lähijäätikölle tsekkaamaan, minkälaisessa kunnossa jääluola on. Luolia on useampia ja isoin luola saattaa olla se, johon pitää laskeutua köydellä. Löytyi kuitenkin lyhyt ja ahdas luola, jossa oli kaiken kukkuraksi vettä lattialla. No, ainakin on pimeää.
The clouds sort of disappeared and, surprisingly, the wind died, too. A brief reconnaissance trip to the Larsbreen icecave was on today's menu. There are some soft spots of snow, but one would need to carry the skis over long rocky sections. The icecave we checked was tiny compared to our expectations and not really that interesting. It's possible that another nearby cave, into which one needs to rappel down, might be a bigger one. But it was nevertheless good to be outside.
