Sillä aikaa, kun kävin venekerhon satamatalkoissa, Noora kapusi lähitunturille katselemaan pikkuruokkeja. Lintuja oli kuulema todella paljon. Sitten lainattiin naapurin auto ja lähdettiin testaamaan Breinosa-tunturiin tehtyjä latuja. Aurinko paistoi, mutta ylempänä oli varsin pirteä tuuli. Täytyy myöntää, että perinteisen tyylin sukset ja monot ei ole parhaimmat mahdolliset välineet isompaan alamäkeen. Korkeuseroa parkkipaikalta tunturin laelle oli suunnilleen 400m. While there is not that much snow left in the town, the ski season continues at higher elevations. The local sports club had decided to prepare some crosscountry ski trails at the observatory hill. So, there was no other choice but to borrow our neighbours' car and go skiing. There was plenty of uphill and lots of herringboning. And sore muscles from trying to slow down in the downhill.
