Sää on ollut suorastaan erinomainen revontulien tuijotteluun. Hieman hullua, että on ollut lähes tyyniä päiviä ja pakkasta vain muutamia asteita. Viime päivien magneettinen myrsky näkyy hienoina revontulina ja eipä ole montaa pilvetöntä hetkeä ollut ilman revontulia. Toisaalta hieno sää houkuttelee myös ulos, joten lähdettiin tsekkaamaan, miltä Larsbreenin jääluola tänä vuonna näyttää. Ihan kiva luola on tällä kertaa varsin "alhaalla" eli ei tarvinnut kavuta kovin pitkälle ylämäkeen. Luolassa on myös huomattavasti lämpimämpää kuin taivasalla, joten lounastauko pidettiin jäätikön uumenissa.
We've got some really nice aurora recently. Every time we take a look at our auroral cameras, there seems to be aurora - or "green clouds" (aurora behind the clouds). The weather has also been surprisingly clear and nice with just a few degrees below freezing. Well, now we are back to -12C (feels like -22C with the wind). So, it is best to have the lunch inside the ice cave where there is no wind and the temperature is significantly higher.
