It's not only silent night but also silent day. Well, this is not true at all: we have just enough snow that the most keen snowmobile drivers are out and about. These are the ones that more often than not have two-stroke engines that apparently need to be revved constantly just to make sure the engine is still running. The sound of snowmobiles is part of the Svalbard experience and living in Longyearbyen.
