Much of the city is already thinking about the Easter holidays and many have already disappeared to far away huts and cabins. The weather has been sunny but cold with varying amounts of wind. We headed out this time with "fjellskis", which is Norwegian for touring skis. You know, leather boots and beefed up crosscountry binding. For some reason, parallel turns seem to work better with these skis. I think this is probably due to the binding being too loose for properly using the "backleg" in telemark turns. Nevertheless, it was a fine but cold day outdoors.
