Kaiken tämän epämääräisen lumivyörytilanteen keskellä tuli idea testata takapihan mäki, jossa näytti olevan ihan mukavaa lunta. Kivaa iltahiihtoa, jonka jälkeen tarjolla oli savolaisittain "iltapalloo" ja hieno näkymä ilta-auringon valaisemiin hiihtojälkiin keittiön pöydän äärestä. Lauantain kohdalle oli ennustettu hienoa säätä iltapäivään saakka ja puoli kylää olikin keksinyt lähteä Trollsteinin suuntaan hiihtelemään. Ei todellakaan oltu ainoita, jotka päättivät kiivetä mäen takaisin ylös laskeakseen rinteen uudelleen. Kolme laskua riitti meille ja kylille tultiin juuri sopivasti ennen tuulen yltymistä ja lumisateen alkua.
We just had to test our own backyard skihill. Not the one with the ski lift, but the one towards Sukkertoppen. The conditions are not usually this good, but the snow was quite good! The weather forecast for the weekend suggested that Saturday would be the day to be outdoors. We were not the only people who had thought about that and the slopes of Trollsteinen were full of people. Plenty of room for your own lines, though, so we just had to climb up again... We got back in town just in time before the wind picked up.
